This letter of intent is issued for the loading of Coal. All vehicles required are 34 ton Side Tippers. The successful Transport Contractor will sign a 5 year contract. The information is as follows:

Loading point: Kromkrans Open Cast Mine
Off Loading Point: Woestalleen Plant
Commodity: Coal
Trucks Required: 30 x 34 ton Side Tippers
Rate: R 0. 90 per ton per kilometer (R 0.90 x 50km x 32 tons)
Distance: 50 Kilometers round trip
Loading: 24/7
V.A.T. Excluded – to be added at 14%
Payment Terms: To be confirmed
Fuel: Available on account at the mine

OTHER INFORMATION

1. The Transporter will adhere to Road Traffic Act and Regulation on overloading of trucks
2. The Transporter will be responsible to attend to all breakdowns and problems in terms of its vehicles.
3. P.O.D.’s must reach us on a daily basis
The Transport Contractor may under no circumstances or at at no time work or communicate with the client directly during his engagement period under the terms and conditions of this contract. Failure to do this for whatever reason will constitute in the immediate termination of the contract with the Transport Contractor.
4. The Transporter will adhere to Road Traffic Act and Regulation on overloading of trucks
5. The Transporter will be responsible to attend to all breakdowns and problems in terms of its vehicles.
6. P.O.D.’s must reach us on a daily basis
7. The Transport Contractor may under no circumstances or at at no time work or communicate with the client directly during his engagement period under the terms and conditions of this contract. 12. All vehicles must have a tracking system fitted and tracking codes made available.

3. Copy of G.I.T. to the value of R 350 000.00 for each vehicle or a summary containing each vehicle, endorsed by its Insurance Broker.

Please note, copies of all of the above documents must be handed in when signing the contract, and before perusal of the mother contract in out poseccion.
